Marching Season Equipment Crew Needed
Hello new and returning BHS Band Parents!
Marching season is almost here, and we need to get our Equipment Crew volunteers identified and set for our fall activities.
For those of you new to the Marching program, we have a number of equipment needs during the fall including away games, and Saturday marching competitions. We have a 50ft “Big Blue” equipment trailer, and typically need one or two volunteers to pull our 24ft tandem axle enclosed cargo trailers as well.
Being a part of the BHS Band Equipment Crew is extremely important, and is a great way to get involved and be a part of your student’s band experience.
We’re going to have a quick meet and greet & go over details of equipment crew needs on Thursday, July 25 at 6:30 – 7:00pm. PLEASE plan on coming to the meeting for a quick orientation, and then we’ll adjourn to the Band practice field to watch our student’s progress at Band Camp! Plan to meet inside the stadium (come around to “back” sliding gate) where I’ll have Big Blue open for a tour and discussion.
As happens every year, we have lost senior student parents and are in _NEED_ of new freshman parents to come get involved and help us literally move the Band Program forward. If you think you can help just once – or plan to come to every event – please plan to join for this important Equipment Crew meeting!
