9-11 Grade Returning VETS: Committee Sign-Ups

As you know, the BHS Band Booster Association runs much of the operational, logistical, and financial aspects of our program. This is not possible without the board members who serve in very important capacities. These newly elected board members need committee help which is perfect for those who aren’t sure if they can take on more. We encourage all parents to find a place to plug in – we have parents of all kinds of backgrounds and work schedules! #1) More people helping makes it easier for each person and combats burn out for the few who otherwise would unfairly do the work; and #2) Serving as volunteers on committees is very gratifying as you contribute to the inner-workings of our program and spend time around our awesome students, particularly your own student without “cramping their style”.
Please refer to the attached picture for how our board and committees are structured and then please email the board member directly if you are interested in helping on a committee. Once band camp rolls around and then the school year starts, we will start needing a lot of committee help. We need you, our students need you, and with more of us helping, all of the things that need to be done to give our students this experience, will be a lot easier. Thank you!
