What is the difference between the class fee and band fee?

Class fee: This is a fee that is required by Madison County Board of Education in order to take the band class at Buckhorn High School. The fee is $50 and is no longer exempted for incoming freshman. The money collected is used strictly for the band; however, these funds are not controlled by the booster organization and is very limited in how it is used. (ex: can not buy food for bandcamp) Band fee This is a fee that is collected and placed in a "booster account". The amount collected depends on the budget proposed by the executive board members and voted on by the booster memebers each year. Money in this account can be used for almost any need of the band but must be approved by executive board members and Mr. Raney. This is the money that does most of the work for the band.
